| About us
Celtic
Charter has been operating a charter boat since 1990. The first
boat was called ‘Celtic Monarch' which may ring a bell with
some anglers.‘Celtic Monarch' was purpose built for angling
and up to 2001 had served well for anglers, the only thing she lacked
was speed.
We
sold Celtic Monarch in 2001 and bought an Offshore 105 with a 400hp
Cummings engine, which we called ‘Celtic Star'.We had an extremely
good response to ‘Celtic Star' and she had the speed we wanted
but we found that 10 passengers was comfortable but 12 was too many
and we needed to be able to take 12 passengers.
In
2003 we purchased Celtic Wildcat so called because she is the first
‘Wildcat 107’ built by Frank Kowalski in Cobh Ireland.
Celtic Wildcat is 36 foot long catamaran with a
16 ft beam which is an ideal stable platform for both diving and
fishing. She has Twin 300hp Caterpillar engines which give her a
22 knot max speed with a comfortable cruising speed of 16 knots;
fast enough to get you to the diving and fishing sites without compromising
comfort.
Celtic Wildcat has a transom dive door, centre spine
ladder and clear deck space for all your diving and fishing equipment.
Celtic Wildcat is a perfect base for a day fishing or diving around
the Pembrokeshire Coast .
